Exotica’s booty shorts are my favourite style of bike short, and I especially like the non compressive nature and matte finish of the body contouring fabric. The waistband is sufficiently high to provide support and coverage (comes just below my belly button as a tall person of 175cm with a long torso). There is plenty of stretch on the band and in the legs, so there’s no sausage casing effect at the thigh leg hems or muffin top on the waist! They are totally squat proof, even with black or red underwear, though you will see seams unless you wear seamless, invisible style underwear. The vibrant aqua colour is true to the representation on screen. There is some small riding up on the legs with prolonged vigorous movement, but I think that’s just the laws of physics with any pair of bike shorts! On me, at the highest point of ride up, it basically just looks like the shortest length on the tie side shorts, so still more than enough coverage and totally comfortable.
