Chia Pudding

So now you know ALL about fat & you’re no longer scared of it let’s embrace this amazing macronutrient into our lives. (From our Fat is your friend blog last week)

Here is a super delicious recipe for Chia pudding that will leave your taste buds dancing & your brain in superwoman mode.

What’s so super cool about chia seeds? They are a tiny little seed that pack a nutritional punch far beyond their size. They have a natural balance of fats (Omega 3 & 6) protein & fibre. This tiny super seed is also loaded with vitamin B, copper, iron, calcium & magnesium.

The fibre found in Chia seeds is both soluble & insoluble. This means that you will also be feeding the army of bacteria living in your gut with the insoluble fibre.

The protein found in Chia seeds are COMPLETE. It is one of the rare occasions where you will find all 8 essential amino acids that make up a complete protein building block in the plant kingdom.

Chia is also FULL of antioxidants which help rid the body of free radicals. This is ultimately anti aging deliciousness.

Combining Chia seeds with all of the other amazing, nutrient dense foods from mother nature in these recipes & you have a pudding worth making a song & dance about.
